We had an incredible stay at a very friendly hostel in Aswan. the owner, David, went above and beyond by picking us up from the train station and organizing a reasonably priced transportation to Abu Simbel. David's kindness and support made us feel at home, and the fellow travelers staying at the hostel were also very friendly. The bunk beds were poorly constructed and extremely shaky. the showers provided only cold water, which was not pleasant after a long day of sightseeing.
